BusinessObjects Monitoring is Tricky but These Resources Should Help

SAP BI 4.2 is out, and supporting more platforms like Linux and databases including HANA.  If you're already feeling behind on BusinessObjects monitoring, you're not alone.  Most of our subscribers who operate BI expressed concerns and challenges in managing availability, performance, and alerts from an enterprise perspective.  According to SAP's latest comments on this issue via SCN blog.
