If you use S/4HANA, HANA and Fiori, most likely you will need SAP Frontend Server (FES) which also acts as SAP Netweaver Gateway. In prior efforts, we installed S/4HANA and showed you how to monitor SAP S/4HANA. In this post, we installed FES, then connected RFCs between the FES and S/4HANA, then used IT-Conductor to monitor both, including monitoring RFC connections. Communication between these systems is key. Whether you deploy S/4HANA in the cloud or on-premise, please consider quality SAP monitoring for it to ensure availability and performance.
If you want to use Solman here's our Solution Manager 7.2 Guide for Monitoring S/4HANA. Or you can use IT-Conductor for SAP cloud-based platform, now approved and also available through SAP on App Center!
