SAP HANA Monitoring

Installation and Monitoring SAP Frontend Server including NW Gateway

This presentation shows how to install, configure, and monitor the SAP Frontend Server (FES) and GW using IT-Conductor with S/4HANA.

If you use S/4HANA, HANA, and Fiori, you will most likely need SAP Frontend Server (FES), which also acts as SAP Netweaver Gateway.

In prior efforts, we installed S/4HANA and showed you how to monitor SAP S/4HANA.

In this post, we installed FES, connected RFCs between the FES and S/4HANA, and then used IT-Conductor to monitor both, including monitoring RFC connections. Communication between these systems is key.  Whether you deploy S/4HANA in the cloud or on-premise, please consider quality SAP monitoring to ensure availability and performance.

If you want to use Solman, here's our Solution Manager 7.2 Guide for Monitoring S/4HANA. You can also use IT-Conductor for SAP cloud-based platform, now approved and also available through SAP on App Center!
