Manage SAP LT Replication with SLT Monitoring including dependent SAP RFC Connection Status and Performance
SAP's digital core is rarely one single system but an Ecosystem comprising many essential connections and data exchanges that require availability and performance monitoring to ensure they function.
SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) replication is a trigger-based data synchronization technology with growing use cases for live business applications. SLT and many other SAP applications depend greatly on RFC Connectivity which also needs to be monitored to ensure high-quality service of the SAP ecosystem. Some of these tools and techniques have been outlined in prior publications:
As part of the Mastering SAP Monitoring webinar series, we're revisiting those solutions to show how they are used, along with their respective features and benefits. The simplest of them is IT-Conductor which actually requires no software installation and zero-CCMS as well as zero-Solution Manager configuration.
