SAP HANA SPS12 Exploring New Features
SAP HANA SPS12 exploring the new/changed features particularly on SAP Basis side including HANA Monitoring enhancements.
Upgrade HANA and COCKPIT to SPS02, followed by installation/implementation of Dynamic Tiering, including Enhanced SAP HANA Monitoring by IT-Conductor
When we upgraded previously to SAP HANA 2, there were still quirks in how Dynamic Tiering work, so it's time to upgrade yet again, this time to SPS02 where we feel there are more useful features of HANA extended storage architecture. We also wanted to test the "Near Zero Downtime Upgrade" option of HANA lifecycle management. This is a compilation of notes taken while doing the upgrade of HANA 2 SPS00 server and COCKPIT to SPS02, followed by installation/implementation of Dynamic Tiering with Enhanced SAP HANA Monitoring by IT-Conductor.
